Towards the end of 2023 I found myself working a stint at a studio in Dalston; this was the first on-site freelance work I had done since before the Covid pandemic and it made a nice change from all the remote jobs I had been taking of late. But I also reached the first anniversary of having shot Oracle, a zero-budget horror short based on a script about demons gatecrashing a tarot reading. Anxious that this 'back burner project' would not drag on indefinitely without seeing completion, I pulled out every stop around Christmas and new year to try and get all outstanding post-work completed as soon as possible.
It therefore gives me great pleasure to announce that Oracle is now complete and will be subitted shortly to as many film festivals as humanly possible. A trailer was completed earlier today, as was an IMDb page. Watch this space for news about any upcoming screenings!
